Meet The Contributor
WOM's Contributors are an eclectic mix of talented, award-winning chefs, seasoned writers, and passionate foodies. Each contributor writes under a column name, much like a menu, with each article a dish on the menu to be enjoyed.
Award-Winning, Michelin-rated, Gary Danko, shares his thoughts on the world of chefs and the realities of being one in his column, In My View. The talented, Dane Clouston is The Hungry Chef, entertaining with his travel and cheffing adventures; and pastry maestro, Gregoire Michaud, gets passionate about all that's sweet in, What's for Dessert.
Jacqui Williams stimulates the mind and the appetite in her column, The Art of Food, Catharine Nicol proves that healthy eating does not mean eating like a rabbit in her column Good for You. Anneliese O'Young and Prudence Lui eat their away around the New Territories in Devouring Lion Rock, and The Gastronought will amuse with his edgy philosophy and insider knowledge of restaurants in his column A Thought for Food.
Seema Bhatia explores the cuisines of Africa and India in her column, Culinary Safaris, while Natasha Loo explores food that brings comfort in her column, Simple Pleasures.
Celebrated wine journalist Debra Meiburg MW helps everyday wine lovers to thoroughly enjoy the pleasures of wine through her column Winning Drops; journalist Fideme Ngau shares his views on eating in his column Sizzling Stockpot; and Uwe Opocensky, the talented executive chef of Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong, will contribute in Building Blocks with his inspiring and stimulating progressive gastronomy.
Associate editor, Vicki Williams continues to write a variety of feature articles, including restaurant reviews and interviews with talented chefs. She has also started her own column, In the Kitchen. The column involves leading chefs reviewing Vicki's attempts at mastering the skills needed by a professional.
WOM editors and founders, Samanta Pong and Fergus Fung, are also contributing articles regularly.
